Alfred Lys Baldry

    Alfred Lys Baldry was een Engelse kunstcriticus en schilder die studeerde aan de Universiteit van Oxford en het Royal College of Art. Als leerling van Albert Joseph Moore exposeerde hij in de jaren 1880 zijn werken. Later werd hij de biograaf van Moore en organiseerde na diens overlijden een belangrijke tentoonstelling van diens werk. Baldry schreef ook een biografie van Hubert von Herkomer, waarmee hij bijdroeg aan de documentatie van de kunstwereld van zijn tijd.
