This may surprise many, but college is not the place to get more knowledge. Colleges are designed around mass-produced textbooks and curriculums that are not relevant to the world today. You may learn a bit about a career field you are interested in, but I am here to tell you that most life lessons and skills are not learned by sitting in a classroom or, better yet, at Zoom University. Instead, they are discovered and nurtured by worldly experiences and relevant research on topics that YOU are interested in. Learning new things is great, but experiencing them makes an even more significant impact on your life. When you work to fulfill a purposeful life, you will begin to notice the development in yourself. The greatest gift you give to yourself in life is YOU. You determine your outcome and future. You hold the power to make all the decisions to get you to where you want to be. Regardless of your circumstances, change in your life is possible. You have more influence over yourself and your path than you even know. With the incredible power you currently hold, you can create a life you will be proud of one day.
