Na het behalen van haar bachelor in politicologie en milieubeleid, en een master in energiebeleid en -recht, en na enkele jaren in de milieusector te hebben gewerkt, besloot ze thuisblijfmoeder te worden. Toen begonnen de ideeën voor een schrijverscarrière echt te groeien. Hoewel ze meerdere keren deelnam aan NaNoWriMo, won ze in 2019 voor het eerst. Deze overwinning inspireerde haar om van schrijven haar carrière te maken. Haar debuutroman werd in 2020 in eigen beheer uitgegeven.
