We live in an era where bullying, violence and aggression have sadly become the norm. Being "different" is difficult. Society is unforgiving and intolerant of those of us who are disabled or challenged. People are cruel and impatient, and our children especially are being taught that to be different is to be impaired or damaged and that it is ok to ridicule and exclude those who are seen as different from the rest. The Wobbly Wheeled Wagon is a story with a powerful message of tolerance, compassion, and acceptance. Aimed for children, and hopefully their parents too, the subtle yet vital message of working together to make our world a kinder and safer place for all is as important as never before.
