Jedná se o jedinou hru, jejíhož jevištního uvedení se Kjóka za svého života už nedočkal. V doslovném překladu se jmenuje Vyprávění z hradní věže. Hra byla otištěna v roce 1917 v časopisu Nový román (Šinšósecu). V roce 1995 hru natočil jako celovečerní film režisér Tamasaburó Bandó. Hra, bohatá na fantaskní a hrůzostrašné motivy, se odehrává v temné hradní věži, skryté očím obyčejných smrtelníků. Nejvyšší patra jsou příbytkem přízraků a strašidel dávno mrtvých dvořanek.
