Martin Berry is een auteur van kinderboeken. Voordat hij schrijver werd, werkte hij als elektronisch ingenieur en ontwierp en bouwde hij prototypes van wetenschappelijke onderzoeksapparatuur. Hij groeide op in de Thames Valley en woont nu in Wiltshire. Hij speelt graag tennis, leest en leert gitaar spelen.
