Excavations from 1988 to 1991 uncovered a settlement of the Cham Culture with a wealth of findings. Following the earlier reports on rock implements [AMDK 10] and bone and antler tools [AMDK 16], this volume presents the features and pottery. The settlement area is divided into four find distribution zones [1-4]. Key features include 92 discolourations, a ditch system, three palaeo-channels with preserved wood, three stone assemblages, and numerous stone pavements, primarily forming hearths (e.g., "type Dietfurt" with a protrusion and fired daub). A total of 1.1 tons of pottery was analyzed, identifying 10,795 vessels and spindle whorls. This collection belongs to the Franconian Alb Group of the Cham Culture, influenced by northern and eastern elements. Relative chronological insights are derived from feature superpositions, pottery distribution, and building remains. The integration into the European Final Neolithic context, along with radiocarbon dating, places the material in a "later Cham horizon" (2900-2700 cal. B.C.). Four occupation scenarios are explored, with the most plausible being a multi-phase settlement featuring small rectangular houses.
