Bangkok, die Stadt und ihre wundervollen Menschen. Das war die Motivation zu diesem Buch. Im Rahmen von privaten und auftragsgebundenen Projekten sucht Autor Thomas Kalak seit mehreren Jahren urbane Auffälligkeiten abseits von üblichen Klischees. In der thailändischen Hauptstadt filmt und fotografiert er Einwohner auf ihrem Weg durch die Stadt, nähert sich dem Leben auf der Strasse und bemüht sich dabei um eine subtile und realitätsnahe Dokumentation. Bangkok, the city and it´s wonderful people. That was the motivation for this book. Ignoring the usual clichés, the author, Thomas Kalak, has for many years been striving to catch urban characteristics in Bangkok. In the capital of Thailand he filmed and photographed it´s people on their way through the city. He got close to the life on the streets and his photos depict a subtle yet realistic view of life in Bangkok.
