In a globalized world, an interdisciplinary dialogue on ethics and human rights is both necessary and beneficial for jurisprudence. Human rights can be seen as formalized ethics, providing a framework for communicating rights and transforming wrongs into rights. Ethics also influence recognized human rights, as they represent "ethics in action." The enforcement of human rights, particularly in international criminal law, brings these principles to life. An interdisciplinary approach to participation rights, social rights, and human rights in both private and public spheres is advisable. This work includes articles presented at an international conference on "Ethics and Human Rights in a Globalized World" held in Jerusalem in 2008. Young researchers from Israel and Germany, specializing in law, philosophy, political science, and theology, explore the foundation of human rights, the conflicts among various rights, and effective implementation structures. The role of the World Bank in promoting human rights and the importance of local cultural contexts are also examined. Additionally, the correlation between international criminal law and human rights is discussed, featuring an article by Aharon Barak, former Chief Justice of the Israel Supreme Court.
