Stefan Wunderlich was born in Rosenheim (Germany) in 1980. He studied chemistry at the LMU Munich, where he joined the group of Prof. Dr. Knochel for his Master of Science thesis in 2006. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Knochel, he started then in 2006 his Ph. D. thesis about the functionalization of aromatics and heteroaromatics using new TMP-amide bases and finished his work successfully in 2010. He is now currently working for Prof. Dr. Knochel as a research scientist.
