Regions are experiencing a renaissance in our globalized world, emerging as essential spaces for identity, planning, and economics, while also becoming autonomous energy systems. Resilient energy systems based on renewable sources can develop at the regional level, enhancing community health and security while generating significant economic benefits. The Lake Constance-Alpine Rhine area, spanning four central European countries, has the potential to become a model region by leveraging these opportunities and existing initiatives.
