Every one of us has had the experience of making our way in the course of a day through a variety of different worlds, some bigger, some smaller. One might be for example the world of the big city, the other a workplace, the next perhaps an athletic club or gym. Daniel Gebhart de Koekkoek focuses his lens on these different areas of experience in “The World We Live In.” He shows us winter campers in St. Moritz and the nuclear power plant in Zwentendorf, which was never commissioned. And then he takes us to anonymous tracts of land and cities where the individual gets lost in the crowd.
