Since the revolution of 1959 time passed slowly in Cuba. Due to trade restrictions and the lack of capital investment a world from the past could survive until today. The title of this book refers to one of the pictures, which shows the lettering of a department store established in Havana in 1897. For this project Michael Zegers visited Havana in March 2011.
