Beirut Hellfire Society

Set against the backdrop of war-torn 1970s Beirut, the story follows Pavlov, the son of an undertaker, who takes over his father's role after his sudden death. He is drawn into the enigmatic Hellfire Society, which provides secret burials for marginalized individuals denied last rites. Through his new responsibilities, Pavlov transforms into a chronicler of his beleaguered community, navigating themes of faith, identity, and survival amidst the chaos of Lebanon's civil war.
