Little Lord Fauntleroy

Set in the mid-1880s, the story follows young Cedric Errol, who lives in genteel poverty with his mother in New York after the death of his father. Their lives change dramatically when an English lawyer, Havisham, arrives with news from Cedric's grandfather, the Earl of Dorincourt. With the passing of his father's elder brothers, Cedric learns he is now Lord Fauntleroy and heir to a vast estate, setting the stage for his journey from humble beginnings to nobility.
