Ruth

Set against the backdrop of a sweatshop, the story follows Ruth, a young orphan whose life takes a dramatic turn after meeting the charming yet morally dubious Henry Bellingham at a ball. As their friendship leads to scandal and Ruth's dismissal from her job, she finds herself abandoned and pregnant. With the help of a compassionate family, she adopts a new identity to rebuild her life.
