There is no sub-plot and the action in each of these 'pictures' is cumulative. Between each scene one of the characters protests his innocence to an imaginary court. By thus being made aware of the outcome of the play before the end we are forced to pass judgement upon the relative guilt of every character. Andora was written between 1958 and 1961.
