It offers a well-founded selection of terms from fundamental sciences such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry, as well as from all major industrial sectors, including their raw materials, processes, and products. These sectors encompass mining, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, energy and electrical engineering, electronics, information technology, construction and transportation, textiles, glass, plastics, paper, and printing industries. For this edition, the entire vocabulary has been reviewed and updated, with over 26,000 new entries increasing the total to 220,000. The lexicographic design aims to categorize each term as precisely as possible, providing technical classifications, brief explanatory notes, and synonyms for clarity and ease of use.
