Without a distinct protagonist, we are taken on an exploration of the complexities of war, love, family heartbreak and above all else - loyalty. Loyalty takes these characters above and beyond what they thought possible, fighting for, or against the de-evolved human species. Many animals see the kindness, the complexity, and the love that humans are capable of, but others despise their history and the way that humans treated animals for millennia. Written through excerpts, memories, letters and recollections, this story provides a complex insight into another reality at a point in time where everything is at stake.
