Vietnam veteran and ex-secret service operative, Mike Davis, finds himself serving alongside an unlikely ally in a former Second World War Japanese commander aboard the Fuji Maru . Corrupt elements close to the US President have vested interests in the fate of the women as Mike's previously close relationship with the President and the First Lady provides a haunting backdrop. The pageant's millionaire organiser's various financial concerns are not all that they seem, and the ugly shadow of slave trafficking and gangster networks emerges as a tense battle of wills is played out across the seas around Japan.
