One day has an accident while chasing another Hummingbird that was invading her territory and nearly breaks her neck. The story is told using the author's own photographs and experiences with Hummers, including photos of Heidi when she was a chick. The book is filled with fun facts about Hummingbirds that will delight and interest young children.
