It covers alternative spellings for 2 phonemes plus the graphemes and High Frequency words already covered in this stage of the programme.Ten Shed Fred covers letters and sounds that students meet in the later stages of a phonics teaching programme. It corresponds to Phase 5 of Letters and Sounds, the UK Government's synthetic phonics programme, but can be used for phonics reading practice to support any phonics programme.
