Zbiór ponad trzydziestu studiów uznanych polskich naukowców (archeologów i historyków), poświęconych pamięci wybitnego archeologa, wieloletniego pracownika Polskiej Akademii Nauk i Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, profesora Jerzego Kolendo. Tematyka artykułów jest bardzo szeroka – poruszone zostały zagadnienia dotyczące archeologii różnych regionów Polski (np. Mazowsza, Pomorza Zachodniego) i Europy (np. Sycylii, Dacji, Germanii). Studies in memory of Professor Jerzy Kolendo A collection of over thirty studies written by renowned Polish scholars (archaeologists and historians), dedicated to the memory of a distinguished archaeologist, working for a long- time at the Polish Academy of Sciences and at the University of Warsaw, Professor Jerzy Kolendo. The articles deal with a broad range of issues – those concerned with the archaeology of different Polish regions (e.g., Mazovia, Western Pomerania) and of Europe (e.g., Sicily, Dacia, Germania).
