The Common Worship Lectionary for reading the Bible throughout the year is authorised for use in the Church of England. This edition offers the reading scheme in full, including the variations provided to allow its use with the Eucharistic provision of the Book of Common Prayer (1662). Also included is the Common Worship Additional Weekday Lectionary, which provides two readings on a one-year cycle for each day and is intended particularly for use in churches and cathedrals that attract occasional rather than regular congregations.
