This anthology offers ten science fiction stories from the 1950s to the present. Nine of them were written by leading English and American Science Fiction authors, one is from India. The stories cover a multitude of topics including social and political problems. In general, they deal with their respective subjects seriously, but some also employ satirical a funny twists.The first stories are directed at pupils after about 5 years of English, whereas the latter ones are more suitable for higher classes.An introduction to science fiction literature in general as well as questions and tasks to the different stories will help to facilitate their study in the classroom.
