Once Upon a River

Set against the backdrop of rural Michigan, the story follows sixteen-year-old Margo Crane, a resilient young woman grappling with her father's violent death, in which she played a role. Armed with a rifle and a biography of Annie Oakley, she embarks on a perilous journey down the Stark River to find her missing mother.
