With the help of his brother B ralde and the clever maid Toinette, the lovers' true feelings are revealed, and they unveil Mme Argan's manipulative intentions to exploit her husband financially. Ultimately, they convince Argan to become his own physician, allowing him to indulge his hypochondria without incurring expenses. The play features a cast of 4 women and 8 men.
