Islands in the Stream

Islands in the Stream tells the story of Thomas Hudson, an artist and adventurer reminiscent of Hemingway. Set in the 1930s, it follows Hudson's journey from a painter on a Gulf Stream island to his involvement in antisubmarine activities off Cuba during World War II.
