In 2015, a series titled The MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories debuted, featuring stories set in the appropriate time period and penned by leading contemporary Sherlockian authors. The initial volumes received an enthusiastic response, prompting requests for more collections. By Fall 2016, the series introduced its first themed collection, Part V: Christmas Adventures, which included 30 new stories that resonated with readers. This time, the collection revisits the festive season with 57 additional Christmas Adventures, spanning from Holmes's teenage years to his retirement in the late 1920s, showcasing his enduring brilliance. These stories, a mix of mysteries tied to Christmas and others set around the season, highlight exceptional Holmesian storytelling by talented pasticheurs. All royalties from this collection are dedicated to preserving Undershaw, one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's former homes. The game is afoot!
