Magic in Changing Your Stars

Ailey Benjamin Lane, an aspiring dancer, faces disappointment when a classmate outshines him in auditions for The Wiz. Confiding in his Grampa, who shares his own story of unfulfilled dreams, Ailey discovers a pair of magical tap shoes that transport him to 1930s Harlem. There, he meets a young version of his Grampa and attempts to help him confront his fears. This time-travel adventure highlights Black culture and history, exploring themes of ambition, legacy, and the impact of choices across generations.
