Manfred

Tortured by guilt from the death of his beloved Astarte, Manfred, a nobleman with Faustian traits, attempts to escape his anguish through his mastery of language and spell-casting. He summons seven spirits in search of forgetfulness, but they reveal their limitations, unable to alter the past or fulfill his desperate plea. This struggle highlights themes of guilt, the supernatural, and the human desire for redemption.
