Gustav is sixteen, and the only things on his mind are girls and finishing high school. His friends have much the same mindset, and join him on his quest to finding a relationship. Gustav may have found a lasting bond with Babs, but will it last? Or will other forces get in the way? At first, it seems his only problem will be the school's senior students, but he will soon discover a whole new side of his family, school, and subsequently his town. Gustav is to learn the true importance of friendships and keeping an open mind in this tale about the universal realities of one's time at school. Gustav's High School Diary is a comedic story that follows the true highs and lows of the high school experience in the '60s.
