Susan, a successful businesswoman, watches in despair as her son, Kyle, is charged with possession of drugs. For Kyle it is part of a downward spiral brought on by two unreliable father figures and bullying at school. As Kyle's life begins to descend further, Susan decides that the best way to reach out to her son is to take him with her on a journey to Romania.
