This master's thesis investigates heavy metal contamination in River Mukurumudzi, Kwale County, analyzing water and sediment samples across different seasons. Results indicate that metal concentrations in both water and sediments are within safety limits, suggesting low contamination. However, increased levels during rainy seasons highlight the need for monitoring land-based activities.
