Meer over het boek
Theodor Fontane's extensive work encompasses five volumes, capturing the essence of Brandenburg's diverse landscapes. The first volume, focusing on the Grafschaft Ruppin, was created between 1859 and 1861, with its first print in 1862. It has undergone several revisions, aligning with the 1892 Wohlfeilen edition. The second volume, covering the Oderland, was produced from 1860 to 1863, with its initial release in 1863, also adhering to the 1892 text. The Havelland volume, developed between 1863 and 1872, first appeared in 1873, following the same 1892 standard. Spreeland, spanning from 1859 to 1881, was first published in 1882, again based on the Wohlfeilen edition. The final volume, Funf Schlosser, was crafted between 1880 and 1888, with its first edition released in 1889. This new edition is presented in a large format (210 x 297 mm) with a two-column layout, edited by Karl-Maria Guth and published in Berlin in 2016. The text is based on the comprehensive collected works edited by Edgar Gro, Kurt Schreinert, and others, spanning multiple volumes published by Nymphenburger Verlagshandlung from 1959 to 1975.
