Set in 1916, the story follows Emma O'Neill, who, after taking an experimental polio vaccine, finds herself and her family trapped in eternal youth alongside their business partners, the Ryans. While Emma relishes her unending love for Charlie Ryan, their lives take a dark turn when the Church of Light, a group of religious zealots, targets them. As the only survivors of a deadly confrontation, Emma and Charlie must navigate the dangers of their newfound immortality while facing the threat of murder.
