Set against the backdrop of 1793 England, the story follows French Agent Chauvelin's cunning plan to lure Sir Percy Blakeney back to France for capture. At a gala, young actress Désirée Candielle, seeking to aid the underprivileged, unwittingly becomes part of Chauvelin's scheme. Marguerite Blakeney is drawn into the intrigue when she invites Désirée to perform, leading to her arrest and perilous threats in Boulogne. As tensions rise, Sir Percy, the elusive Scarlet Pimpernel, must outsmart his rival to save his wife and thwart the plot against him.
