The narrative explores the disillusionment of family life through the lens of a move that promises a fresh start. The family's dynamics are upended when social worker Terry, the estranged son, is revealed to be in drag, challenging their perceptions. Daughter Linda's true identity as a prostitute further complicates their reality, shattering Dad's dreams. As the house is dismantled for a park project aimed at preserving family ideals, Mam is put on display while Dad faces an uncertain future in a geriatric ward.
