Set in 2003, the story follows Jacques Peters, a teenager navigating the complexities of high school life while trying to fit in with the popular crowd, particularly his idol, Davis Mavis. As Jacques immerses himself in punk culture, he grapples with the harsh realities of mental health struggles and the superficiality of his peers. His journey leads him to a psychiatric ward, where he confronts his challenges through therapy and medication, ultimately revealing the deeper issues behind his pursuit of acceptance and belonging.
