Exploring themes of identity and freedom, the story follows Kitty, a ballerina doll who questions her purpose after being created. Her journey begins in a suburban home alongside Soccer Scotty, a complacent doll, before she escapes with Army Jim to Dolltopia, a society of liberated dolls. Along the way, they experience adventures, including makeovers, a raid on the Doll Factory, and encounters with a helpful cat and other independent dolls. As Kitty settles into her new life, complications arise with the arrival of Soccer Scotty and a human discovery of Dolltopia.
