Fourteen

Set against the backdrop of a challenging sea voyage in 1975, the story follows fourteen-year-old Leslie and her two sisters as they embark on a perilous journey from San Diego to French Polynesia. The adventure is fraught with danger, not only from the unpredictable ocean but also from their abusive father, a domineering Norwegian captain.
