Set against the backdrop of World War II, the story follows two South African scientists, a medical specialist and a nuclear physicist, who face harrowing choices as they navigate life in Germany. Stranded and confronted with the threat of concentration camps, they opt to cooperate with the Nazis. After surviving the war, they remain in hiding, entangled in post-war Nazi activities in Argentina. Their journey culminates in a dramatic turn when one of them successfully thwarts the Nazis' ambitions for an atomic weapon.
