Focusing on the Confucian Dynamism dimension of national culture, this study explores how cultural values affect a nation's innovativeness. By developing and testing a theoretical model with data from 19 countries between 1996 and 2006, the research reveals a significant influence of Confucian Dynamism on national innovation. It also proposes a revised model detailing this relationship and provides insights into how these cultural values impact innovation at both individual and firm levels.
