A tattoo artist in Ann Arbor, Mike Aul's life changes when a recurring dream leads him to paint an elderly Native American man. After showcasing the painting at a Phoenix art exhibition, he meets Arthur White Horse, a Navajo grandfather who claims the figure is a past-life friend with an important message. Skeptical yet intrigued, Mike visits the Navajo Reservation, where he embarks on a transformative journey that challenges his beliefs and alters his identity.
