Design and Implementation of Context-Aware Information Push Systems

Addressing the challenges of information overload and retrieval in modern communication, the book introduces Context-aware Information Push Systems (CAIPS) as a potential solution. It presents a conceptual framework for designing these systems, detailing fundamental components and introducing a reactive rule language framework called CAITL. This framework allows users to specify information delivery based on context. The practical application of this framework is showcased through CAIPS-IM, integrated into a mobile tourist information system in Innsbruck, Austria.
