The Media of Testimony

Focusing on the Stasi, this work examines how testimony is represented through various cultural forms, including autobiographical writing, memorial museums, and documentary films. By integrating theoretical models from multiple disciplines, it offers a fresh perspective on the interplay of testimony, memory, and mediation, enriching the understanding of how personal and collective histories are conveyed and preserved.
