The Bride of the Sun

The narrative follows young engineer Raymond Ozoux as he journeys to Peru to reunite with his fiancée, Marie-Thérèse. Amidst preparations for an ancient Inca feast, where a virgin is to be sacrificed, Marie-Thérèse receives a mysterious bracelet linked to the Sun. When she is kidnapped by Incas, Raymond, his uncle, and her father embark on a perilous trek across the country to rescue her, all while a revolution unfolds, adding urgency and danger to their mission.
