Set in the picturesque lakeside resort town of Belltower Landing, the story follows Jazzi, owner of Tomes & Tea, as she navigates the challenges of running a struggling book bar alongside her friend Dawn. When Jazzi befriends Brie, who is dealing with family tensions after contacting her biological father, their bond deepens. However, Brie's murder thrusts Jazzi into a detective role, as she must sift through a list of suspects, including jealous relatives and unsuitable dates, to uncover the truth, all while juggling her business and personal life.
