Meer over het boek

This volume represents the first significant printed collection of superstitions from English-speaking communities in America. While it includes a diverse array of beliefs, it is not exhaustive, as the author chose to exclude superstitions related to animal and plant lore for future exploration. Some areas are well-represented, while others are merely touched upon. The work serves as an initial effort, with the intention of revising and expanding the collection in subsequent editions.
