Focusing on the trends in extra-hotel tourist accommodations in Spain, this research analyzes occupancy behavior among tourists, particularly highlighting the appeal of smaller establishments due to cost. Utilizing ANOVA analysis, it examines the performance of overnight stays and average stay durations over the last 23 years, drawing on data from the Spanish Institute of Statistics. Additionally, it employs the Pearson correlation coefficient to assess the strength of the relationship between these two variables, providing insights into tourist preferences.
